What's New at BookSparker: October 2026

Author websites, smart book links, more analytics, user access and more mailing providers. Here's what we've added since launch.

A lot has happened since BookSparker launched this summer. More authors join every day, and more and more book swaps are being set up. The feedback so far has been very positive.

In the background, we've been working hard on new features. Here's a quick update.

Author websites

We just added something we're really excited about: an author website builder. In a few steps you get a good-looking author website with your books, your author photo and bio, a reader magnet, your social links and more. No coding needed, and it's free, even on the Free Forever plan.

Smart book links

Paste your Amazon book link once and get a short link that sends each reader to the Amazon store for their country, from Amazon.com to Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de. Use it in your newsletter, bio and ads, and see where your clicks come from. You can make as many as you like on any plan.

More analytics

We've added analytics across BookSparker, so it's easier to keep track of what's going on and what's working. Your dashboard now shows the last 30 days at a glance: readers reached, clicks on your books and new subscribers. The full analytics page shows your whole account over different time frames, and you can pick any book to see its own numbers.

User access

You can now give other people access to your BookSparker account, like an assistant who helps with your marketing. They sign in with their own email and password, see the same notifications and messages as you, and choose which email notifications they get (all are on to start), so nobody misses a swap request or a deadline. Your subscription, affiliate details and profile stay yours alone. It's included in every plan, Free Forever too.

More mailing providers

We've added more mailing providers since launch. You can now connect MailerLite, Mailchimp, Kit, EmailOctopus, Flodesk and AWeber, and readers who sign up on your pages go straight onto your list. We'll keep adding providers based on what authors ask for. If yours isn't supported yet, let us know which one you use.

We hope these new features make your author life a bit easier. We'd love to hear what you think, whether it's about features you already use, the new ones, or something you'd still like to see on BookSparker. Send us a message at booksparker.com/contact.
