The Outgoing Calendar shows, for one mailing list at a time, the days you have promised to send something: swaps, group promo shares, and the days you have set aside. It is also where you adjust a single date without touching your weekly swap settings.
Pick a list
Select Email List holds every list of yours that is switched on. A list with only one entry is selected for you; with several, pick one and the month appears. If the dropdown says No email lists found, none of your lists has swap settings yet: set them up first.
Read the month
The three controls set the day's total: Solo on its own, or a Feature plus a number of Mentions, exactly as in the weekly grid. Confirmed bookings are the floor. A booked Feature stays ticked and cannot be removed, and Mentions cannot go below the number already confirmed, so a promise you have made can never be edited away. A date that differs from the weekly schedule shows a Custom badge, and the reset link takes it back to the schedule as long as nothing is booked on it.
Block a date
Block Date, at the bottom of the same editor, closes the day to new requests. Save it and the day shows a red Blocked pill. It is disabled on a day that already has a confirmed booking: blocking does not cancel a swap, so the promise would stand while the day looked closed. Open a blocked day and choose Unblock This Date to reopen it.
Mark a day as scheduled
The circle in the corner of a day with a confirmed booking turns into a green tick when you click it. It is a personal record that you have queued the newsletter in your email service, nothing more: it does not schedule or send anything, does not change availability, and tells nobody. Use it to see at a glance which of this month's sends are already prepared.
Add a private note
Note, in the footer of either day view, keeps a private note on the date, up to 500 characters. Only you can see it, it stays on the day whatever is booked, and the day shows a small note icon with the text on hover.
Common questions
Why is a day grey?
Either it is in the past, or nothing can be booked on it: that weekday is off in your swap settings, or you set this one date to nothing. Hover it for the link to the settings.
Why can I not block this date?
It holds a confirmed swap. Blocking never cancels a swap, so the day cannot be closed while one is booked on it.
Where do I move a swap to another day?
Not here. A share date is changed by a request the other author approves, from the swap's card on Active Swaps.
Why do the chips ignore pending requests?
Because a request nobody has accepted does not take a slot. Only confirmed bookings reduce what a day can still take.
